Idea Energía is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The company celebrated this event on October 26 at the Río Grande restaurant, an emblematic place in Seville, accompanied by its clients, suppliers, workers and friends.
Since its founding in 2013, the company has been a pioneer in the adoption and execution of renewable energy solutions in Spain and Latin America. It has carried out projects that have left a positive mark, from the design of wind and photovoltaic farms to the implementation of innovative technologies such as agrivoltaic initiatives in PV plants.
Looking to the future, Idea Energía is committed to continuing to work on the development of new technologies related to sustainability. The company embarks on the next decade with renewed determination, promising to continue innovating and contributing to sustainable development, adding green hydrogen, storage, hydraulics and renewable fuels projects to its portfolio. This anniversary marks not only a decade of achievements, but also the beginning of a new phase for the company, with new and exciting challenges.

Idea Energía has recently obtained authorization from ENAGAS TRANSPORTE for the injection into existing gas pipelines of up to 32,000 tons of green H2 per year, obtained from electricity produced exclusively by hybrid photovoltaic plants, in different parts of the Andalusian geography. The H2 will be injected at pressures of between 72 and 80 bar through hydroducts of very short length, as the plants are very close to the injection points. The projects are in administrative processing and it is expected that their start-up will be possible in 2028.
The hybrid photovoltaic plants will have an installed power of 1,500 MW and will be dedicated exclusively to the production of green hydrogen, without connection to either the transportation or distribution networks. They will have large capacity storage systems.

Work has begun on two projects of 100 MW each, processed by Idea Energía. These are going at a good pace and it is expected that the photovoltaic plants will be put into operation before the end of the year.
Idea Energía maintains its commitment to the developer by providing the necessary support until its entry into operation.

Idea Energía, within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement signed with Enel, is about to successfully complete the administrative processing of 4 photovoltaic projects, representing a power of 300 MWp, located in the province of Seville and Malaga.
It is expected that work on both projects will begin and be completed in 2023. Idea Energía has been present at every step from the beginning to date and will continue to work hand in hand with the developer until it is put into operation.
These advances strengthen the generation of renewable energy, in addition to contributing to developing the local economy and job creation.

Idea Energía, new partner of the Spanish Hydrogen Association.
Energy is aware of the new challenge that renewable hydrogen represents in the world of energy and especially for the renewable energy sector. As part of its permanent commitment to new technologies, it has recently become part of the AEH2.
This association represents nearly 300 partners from the entire hydrogen value chain, including renewable promoters, equipment and component manufacturers, engineering and EPC, Oil & Gas, industrial gases, transportation, organizations linked to the sector, etc. It has among its partners the most active companies, institutions and researchers in Spain in these technologies, who are active in hydrogen and fuel cells and who are convinced that these technologies have great economic potential.
AeH2, positioned as a reference agent in the hydrogen sector, has worked since its foundation in 2002 to encourage, promote and boost the technological and industrial development of hydrogen technologies in our country, and to ensure that its positive impact reverts to Spanish society and economy.

Signed collaboration agreement between Idea Energía and Enel Green Power Spain.
Idea Energía and Enel Green Power Spain have signed a collaboration agreement for the development of energy storage infrastructure projects in Andalusia. In this agreement, Idea Energía will develop the different projects until they are “Ready to Build” in two of the photovoltaic plants previously processed jointly and currently in operation. To this end, Idea Energía will provide support in the following activities: contracting of land, engineering, management of permits, licenses and authorizations that allow the construction of infrastructure until its entry into operation.

Last December 2020, 4 photovoltaic plants of 50 MWp each came into operation, two of them in Teba (Málaga) and the other two in Carmona (Seville). Idea Energía has been present at every step of the process from the beginning of the process to the current date, working hand in hand with the promoter of these parks.
Idea Energía, within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement signed with Enel, continues to develop other photovoltaic plants in different locations in Andalusia, the majority of which authorizations and permits are expected to be obtained in 2022.

In 2020, a 10 MWp photovoltaic plant is built on the grounds of the Los Altos Solar wind farm, in Ojuelos de Jalisco (Mexico). This project, owned by Grupo Dragón, evacuates at the same interconnection point as the wind farm.
For this hybrid project, Idea Energía carried out the production study of both plants in which the technical and economic feasibility of the project is analyzed and the optimal capacity of the system is determined. The company also carried out the conceptual and basic engineering of the photovoltaic plant, its connection and its integration into the system. Later, Idea Energia prepared the detailed engineering and provided technical assistance during the construction of the works.

Avance de la tramitación administrativa de las Plantas Fotovoltaica de Enel Idea Energía está finalizando la tramitación de 4 plantas fotovoltaica de 50 MWp cada una, dos de ellas en Teba (Málaga) y las otras dos en Carmona (Sevilla). La previsión es que las plantas que totalizan una potencia de 200 MWp inicien su construcción en el primer trimestre de 2020.
Idea Energía, en el Marco del Acuerdo de Colaboración suscrito con Enel, está desarrollando otras plantas fotovoltaicas en Andalucía, con una potencia de 300 MWp adicionales, cuyas autorizaciones y permisos se obtendrán entre 2020 y 2021.

Firmado contrato entre Idea Energía y EnerAB para la realización de la Ingeniería de un parque Eólico en Tamaulipas (México)
Idea Energía y EnerAB han suscrito un contrato para realizar la Ingeniería del Parque Eólico Guadalupe de 300 MW situado en el Estado de Tamaulipas (México). El parque eólico estará compuesto por 75 aerogeneradores de 4,2 MW de potencia unitaria, una subestación 400/34,5 kV y una línea aérea de Alta Tensión de 400 kV de 9 km. Asimismo, Idea Energía colaborará con EnerAB en la preparación de toda la documentación técnica para solicitar los permisos de conexión a CENACE así como la solicitud de ofertas (RFP) a los contratistas potenciales y comparación y homogeneización de las mismas.
